Man hacks wife to death

CHITTOOR: One J Shankar (29) hacked his wife J Aruna (26) to death at Mallaiahkonda forest area on Tuesday.The couple from the Dalit locality in Tamballapalle mandal headquarters, who were married for 11 years, are used to quarrelling for remaining childless.Shankar took his wife to the forest area on Tuesday morning on the pretext of bringing firewood and attacked her with a sickle and fled the spot leaving her in a pool of blood.Hearing the cries of the woman, villagers rushed to the forest, but she succumbed even before they reached.
