Lets catch at least 100 crooks every year

HYDERABAD: The Centre is trying to deflect corruption charges by saying that BJP, RSS and others are involved in the anti-corruption movement of Baba Ramdev, senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya said on Saturday.Participating in a candlelight march organised by the Bharat Swabhiman Trust at Necklace road to protest against the government crackdown on Baba Ramdev's fast, he said, “Why did the government rush four Cabinet minsters and a Cabinet secretary to the airport to hold talks with Baba Ramdev?” Speaking to media-persons, Loksatta president Dr Jayaprakash Narayan said every year 100 most corrupt people should be arrested and their money confiscated. “We extend our full support to Baba Ramdev and his cause," he said. When asked about their plans, he said Loksatta has been fighting for these issues for the past 14 years. "The aim of this candlelight march is to wake the government up,” said Kasyup, who had come to attend the march.Around 500 people participated in the march. The rally started with the chanting of Maha Mrityunjaya Japa wishing Ramdev speedy revovery.The rally passed through People's Plaza and culminated at Jal Vihar. Various NGOs, members of RSS, Arya samaj, Jain samaj, Agarwal samaj, social activists and leaders from various political parties participated in the protest.Various minority organisations also took part and extended full support to Baba Ramdev's cause.
