Jaipur Development Authority demolishes part of Asaram's ashram from government land

Jaipur Development Authority removed encroachments, including part of an ashram of self-styled godman Asaram, from a government land at Goner road in Jaipur.

The land was encroached for Asaram's ashram and a team on Tuesday removed the portion of the ashram from the land, official sources said.

The authority had sealed the Ashram last week, they said.

The controversial godman is lodged at Central Jail Jodhpur on charges of sexually assaulting a minor girl.
