KANNUR: Newly-elected state secretary of the CPI Pannian Ravindran has said that an internal revolt has begun in the UDF and the Congress following Chief Minister Oommen Chandy’s action of giving a fifth ministerial berth to the Muslim League.Addressing a ‘Meet-the-Press’ held at the Press Club here on Friday, Pannian said that the Chief Minister had done an unpardonable offence by allocating portfolios on the basis of religion and communities.
