ISF paper on labour law reforms

CHENNAI: The Indian Staffing Federation (ISF), an apex body of the temporary staffing industry in India, unveiled a comprehensive paper, outlining issues and recommendations on matters like Employee State Insurance, Service Tax, Provident Fund, Industrial Disputes Act, Contract Labour Regulations Act and Employees’ compensation Act, among others.The paper will be presented to key Central bodies and other relevant authorities for further perusal and consideration. It comes at a time when the Indian staffing industry is posting significant growth of 10-15 per cent year-on-year and has the potential for even higher growth, given a more conducive regulatory environment.
