BANGALORE: The police investigation into the gruesome double murder of BBM students of Mahajana College is on and the police have collected information on the main kingpin of the case, Naveed Ahmed; a manhunt is on for him. He has been identified as a resident of Rajiv Nagar, Mysore.
An investigating officer with the Central Crime Branch (CCB) said that if the police arrest Naveed, they would be able to arrest another four more accused, including the person who was watching the movements of the victim's family.Police said that Naveed Ahmed is a mobile phone technician and was earlier working in a company in Dubai. He returned to Mysore few months back and plotted the kidnap. Police are now tracking his movements. His involvement with KFD is yet to be verified and will be revealed only after his arrest. Meanwhile, the six accused who were arrested on Wednesday, were produced at the first ACMM court on Thursday.
