A student of IIM-Ahmedabd has been offered a salary of Rs 34 lakh per annum, the highest offer to a management graduate.
New Delhi: The highest domestic salary offered to a graduate of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, from where 250 students pass out every year is Rs 34 lakh.
This amount is more than double the highest domestic salary offered last year and is also the highest domestic salary offered to any graduate of any management institue in the country.
"The highest domestic sallary offered this year has been 34 lakh. This was given to a student by RPG Enterprises," IIM-A director Dr Bakul Dholakia said.
The average domestic salary has reached Rs 9.7 lakh.
The average foreign salary is at $92,500 per annum this year.
Graduates of IIM-A have been offered jobs in financial hubs of the world like London and New York.
