Hit and run case in Jaipur, cop turns victim

Jaipur: Jaipur witnesses another hit and run case and this time there is a traffic policeman who is the victim.

A video shows a speeding car running over the traffic cop as he tried to stop it. The incident happened on Monday night. The policemen were conducting spot checks on drivers.

The driver was allegedly drunk and speeding towards the Gandhinagar checkpost. When the police stopped him the driver knocked down a divider on the road, threatened to run over the cops.

The police gave a chase, but they couldn’t catch up with the car. The hit and run case is the second in barely two weeks.

A member of the erstwhile royal family, Vijit Singh, had mowed down a schoolgirl with his BMW on December 15 at the same location.
