MANGALORE: Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade has full faith in the Dharmasthala Truth test spurring on Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and H D Kumaraswamy in concentrating on the developmental activities in the state.
Addressing the media at his residence after acting as an emissary for Yeddyurappa in Dharmasthala on Monday, Dr Heggade expressed happiness that both leaders despite their divergent views have highest respect for Dharmasthala temple. Their conduct in retracting their statements and respecting the sentiments of devotees has made us happy, he said. Dr Heggade believes that every transaction has a dharma be it vyahara dharma or rajakiya dharma. "Dharma too has a special place of its own and its sanctity should not be diluted with petty politicking," he said. While inside the temple's sanctum sanctorium, Dr Heggade revealed that the CM had felt blessed by the good rains that the state had received so far.
