Diana Silva's friends say a teacher accused her of cheating during an exam and tore up her answer sheet.
New Delhi: A 22-year-old MBA student from Meghalaya, and state Chief Minister Mukul Sangma's niece Diana Silva was found dead in her hostel room on Tuesday night in Gurgaon. The first year MBA student at Amity University allegedly committed suicide after having an argument with a teacher.
Diana's friends say a teacher accused her of cheating during an exam and when she protested, the teacher tore up her answer sheet. Diana locked herself in her room and hours later, after a forced entry, authorities found her body.
Police said a probe is still on but initial medical reports suggest suicide.
