God doesnt have a form

CHENNAI: Understanding of godFor me, God is not a human or an idol. I believe in the faith I have in my principles and that is God to me. Spiritual beliefI believe God exists but I don’t believe in any form as such. I believe in religion – one that does not attach importance to rituals. Spiritual practiceI don't have any spiritual practice. I have been practising yoga from the age of four. It has become an essential part of my life. I also meditate often. Prayers are important but I don’t believe in pujas and festivities.Faith in miraclesThe only miracle that has ever happened in my life is my birth. I have been told that during my birth, every baby in the hospital was suffering from Meningitis. My mother fought for my life and I was the only baby who survived. It was more like re-birth for me.Pilgrimage sitesI like Tirupati but don’t visit it now just because of the crowd and the noise. It’s become very commercial these days. But I do visit temples that have a quiet ambience. I like to visit Kalahasthi, where there is less noise and some peace.
