HYDERABAD: Revenue officials lodged a complaint against former Union minister G Venkatswamy's son G Vinod when he, along with some others, trespassed into a disputed land in Survey Number 403 in Sagar Society  here on Saturday and tried in dig the land using JCBs for construction purpose. Police said Vinod is one of the owners of the land. Some others went to court claiming ownership of the land. The case is still pending.As Vinod and his men were engaged in digging the land, locals alerted revenue officials. Sheikpet tahasildar Srinivas, along with his staff, rushed to the place, stopped the digging work, and seized the JCBs.“Revenue officials complained to the Banjara Hills that Vinod and others had trespassed into the disputed land in Survey Number 403 in Sagar Society. Already, a case is pending in court on the land. We  will take legal opinion before deciding on action to be taken," said E Shanker Reddy, assistant commissioner of police, Banjara Hills division.
