NAMAKKAL: The Agro Meteorological Advisory Services (AMAS) has warned the poultry farmers of a high level of egg damage due to foggy weather which is expected to continue for the next four days.The AMAS, attached to the Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Science University (TANUVAS), said in a forecast on Friday, “For the next four days in Namakkal, it will be dry, foggy. As the night temperature is likely to fall in the coming days, feed intake will be high in layer and broiler birds. Egg breakage will also be high and add sodium bicarbonates to the feed @ 1 kg per tonne”.The maximum temperature is expected to reach 30.0 degree Celsius and the minimum will be around 16.0 degree Celsius.
