Adilabad (Telangana): Five women were killed when their autorickshaw collided with a bus at Adilabad in Telangana on Sunday, police said.
The accident occurred near Lodpally village under Bejjur Mandal in Adilabad when the autorickshaw, heading towards Penchikalpet, collided with a road transport bus coming from opposite direction, a police officer said.
All the deceased women were around 35 years of age and the bodies were sent for post-mortem examination.
Sirpur MLA Koneru Konappa reached the spot and expressed condolences to the bereaved families.
A case has been registered and further investigation is on into the mishap, police added.
