FIR opened against Murugesh Nirani

BANGALORE: Lokayukta police on Saturday opened a first information report (FIR) against Industries Minister Murugesh R Nirani  and eight others on Saturday, as the the Lokayukta Special Court asked the Lokayukta police to investigate a case of illegal denotification of land based on a complaint filed by a private industrialist Alam Pasha.Lokayukta police said that nine names are listed in the accused list in the FIR, including Nirani’s brother, Rudrappa Veerappa, Begur Rudramurthy Poornachandra, Shantha Sudheer Belur, S Prakash and Mohan M Hiremath.
