HYDERABAD: Fear of SSC exam result drove a 16-year-old student to commit suicide by hanging self at her residence in Singareni Colony in Saidabad police station limits here on Thursday.  K Pavitra, a student of Mahabubia School in Nampally, who got C1 grade  in the SSC exams, ended her life just half-an-hour before the results were out. According to police, at around 10.45 am, Pavitra told her mother Kumari  that she was very tensed about her SSC results. “ The deceased was crying and her mother told her to keep patience till the results were out. But, Pavitra took extreme step,’’ said S Srinivasulu, Inspector, Saidabad. Pavitra hung self inside her house when her mother, Kumari, went outside. Kumari returned home around 11 am and found her daughter’s body hanging inside the house. She got C1 grade, securing marks in the range of 59-66 in all subjects and 50-59 in languages.
