BANGALORE: Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy has alleged that the telephones of Governor H R Bharadwaj and Opposition party leaders are being tapped by the state BJP government.“Yeddyurappa has a lot to hide and shield many,” he said and added, “even my telephones are being tapped.” Adding that the BJP has no respect for democracy, the JD(S) leader urged the Governor to send a report to the Union government on the issue so that it can intervene constitutionally.“The CM has to resign, if he has any self respect... Only the Centre should dismiss the government,” he addressed the media here on Saturday.He alleged that the BJP government has indulged in tapping the telephones of all the agencies and constitutional bodies.He, however, declined to comment on his name figuring in the Lokayukta’s leaked report.“I will react only after going through the official report,” he replied.‘Madman Secy Must Learn Constitution’Gulbarga: “Does this madcap know anything about the Constitution,” said former CM and Bidar MP Dharm Singh. He was reacting to CM’s political secretary B J Puttaswamy’s statement that “Dharm Singh and former DGP Jija Harisingh would be nailed in the mining scam”.
