Delhi Police to file chargesheet in Soumya murder case
The chargesheet will be filed against all the five accused.

New Delhi: Delhi Police will file a chargesheet in the Soumya Vishwanathan murder case on Monday. The chargesheet will be filed against all the five accused.

They have been booked for murder, destruction of evidence and forgery among charges.

The police say they have strong evidence against the five accused, like the grey WagonR used to carry out the crime and phone records that indicate they were near the murder spot.

The murder weapon has also been recovered but the forensic reports are yet to come.

All the five accused - Ajay Sethi, Ravi Kapoor, Amit Kumar Shukla, Baljit Malik and Ajay Kumar - have also been booked under Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).

Soumya, a TV journalist was shot dead on September 30, 2008, while she was going back home after work. The motive of the murder is yet to be established.
