Antony handed over the best marching contingent trophy for Republic Day 2014 to paramilitary CRPF.
New Delhi: Defence Minister AK Antony on Tuesday handed over the best marching contingent trophy for Republic Day 2014 to paramilitary CRPF.
The trophy was received by Central Reserve Police Force chief Dilip Trivedi along with the parade commander Assistant Commandant JN Jena, who led the 125-member foot contingent on January 26.
The CRPF is country's largest paramilitary force with close to 3-lakh personnel in its ranks and is deployed across the country for rendering internal security duties.
