KOCHI: The Crime Branch, Hurt and Homicide(HHW)officials on Tuesday visited Registrar (Subordinate Judiciary) A Hariprasad to discuss the case related to the death of CBI ASP P G Haridath. The Crime Branch officials discussed the procedures for getting in custody a judge, who has been named in the suicide note of Haridath. According to sources, it would take some time to quiz the judge as part of the investigation. “We discussed the procedures for interrogating the judge. We will also hold similar discussions with the CBI so that the two CBI officials named in the suicide note can be interrogated”, sources said. Allegations have been raised by the family members against those named in the suicide note. “In the initial phase of the investigation, the statements of the family members were recorded. They have raised strong allegations against the persons named in the suicide note. To know the veracity of the allegations, we have to interrogate these persons. But it would take time as two of them are CBI officials and one is in the rank of a magistrate,” the sources added.
