SANGAREDDY: Congress leaders entered into an argument with the leaders of the TJAC, TRS and BJP for tearing down flexiboards of deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha and MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy in Sangareddy and Sadasivapet towns. The Cong leaders beat up TRS district secretary Rachi Reddy at Sadasivapet police station alleging that he provoked students to tear the flexis. Tension increased and even led to a scuffle between the Congress and Telangana activists. Sensing trouble, police entered the scene and pacified both groups before releasing the students who were arrested for reportedly tearing down the posters. In another incident near the Sangareddy district collectorate, some govt employees bashed up a private bank employee hailing from Andhra for allegedly misbehaving with their colleague participating in a demonstration. The employees, it was learnt, went to the bank and threatened the branch manager to close the bank immediately or face the warth of Telangana protestors.
