JHARSUGUDA: Congress scion Rahul Gandhi spelled out a longterm strategy for building a bottom heavy Congress during his visit to Jharsuguda on Wednesday. Addressing a Tribal Youth Convention here, Rahul reassured the youths about inner party democracy and impressed upon the gathering that tribals and Dalits should have a say in Indian politics.
Clarifying Congress' stand on development, he said that the benefits of development should percolate down to all sections of society.Laying thrust on the development models, Rahul said he supported projects like Posco and Vedanta provided people displaced were adequately compensated.
