BANGALORE: A security guard has alleged that an autorickshaw driver has kidnapped his five-year-old daughter on Monday, with the police suspecting the complainant’s narration.Srinivas, a security guard from Anekal, told Amruthahalli police that on Monday afternoon, he and his daughter Rakshita were going to their relatives’ house in Yelahanka.He said they had boarded a BMTC bus from Majestic but got down at Byatarayanapura and rented an auto to get to Yelahanka.Srinivas said the auto driver started taking them towards Jakkur Layout, giving vague reasons. Meanwhile, Rakshita forced her father to get her cake. Srinivas asked the auto driver to stop near a bakery and got down to get cake. He told police that when he alighted, the driver started the vehicle and fled with Rakshita.Police said Srinivas was drunk when all this happened and that his version too seemed suspicious. The police are investigating the case.
