BJP leaders make a beeline for KSE

SHIMOGA: State BJP president K S Eshwarappa remained silent and was confined to his residence even on the second day after the outburst of former CM B S Yeddyurappa on him.On Friday afternoon, Eshwarappa came out of his house and said: “I will not react now; but will tell you everything at the appropriate time.” At the same time, senior party leaders, by not reacting to the situation, are adopting a wait and watch policy, probably wary of aggravating the problem.  Party local leaders Girish Patel, M B Bhanuprakash met the leader at his house and discussed the issue. Tumkur MLA Sogadu Shivanna and Gubbi MLA Nagesh, too, met Eshwarappa later during the day. Shivanna, while addressing the media, expressed anguish at Yeddyurappa’s statements.“All have contributed for strengthening the party in the state; it is not fair to make such allegations,” he added. Eshwarappa, while going to Shiralkoppa, addressed the media: “You have been waiting for me since Thursday morning. I feel embarrassed to make you wait like this. I would invite you whenever I feel like sharing everything with you.”
