Bidari letter discussed

BANGALORE: The state Cabinet which met on Friday is said to have discussed the letter purportedly written by the state government to CID DGP Shankar Bidari, following string of allegations made by him into an FIR filed in the Upper Krishna Project piece contract scam.   The Cabinet is said to have taken the issue seriously and has sought the opinion of the state Advocate General to refer the matter to either the Lokayukta or other agencies.   Bidari in his letter to the government has reportedly stated that “I am afraid that our investigation will be affected by the stigma of allegations made by many, including Deve Gowda and his son H D Kumaraswamy”.
