In a tragic incident, the lifeless body of a newborn boy was discovered impaled on a fencing grill in a house in Haryana’s Ajronda village. Neighbours were left in a state of shock after the horrifying discovery early on Saturday morning.
According to an NDTV report, the police inquiry revealed that the incident took place late Friday night when an unidentified person allegedly threw the baby over a wall, resulting in the newborn’s body becoming skewered on a spiked fence.
The police were informed about the incident soon after locals observed the body, which was later carefully removed from the grille and subsequently transferred to the Badshah Khan Civil Hospital in Faridabad for a thorough post-mortem examination.
The primary focus of the autopsy is to determine whether the baby was intentionally killed by someone before being discarded or if the unfortunate death occurred as a result of being pierced by the grill.
The police are reviewing nearby CCTV footage in an attempt to identify and locate the individuals responsible for this heinous crime.
The residents of Ajronda are grappling with a mix of shock, grief, and anger. Some are demanding the death penalty for those found guilty. The local community is urging the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure that justice is served for the innocent child.

Meanwhile, in another similar incident, Haryana Police on Friday arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly strangling his eight-year-old niece to death and burying her body in a field 3 km away from his village.
The police recovered the body Friday evening and placed it in the mortuary, they said.
The girl had gone missing under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday. Her father approached the police and said his daughter was playing with other children at home and went missing around midnight when he and his wife were away in the fields.
