As the search intensifies for Bhole Baba alias Surajpal alias Narayan Sakar Hari following the stampede during one of his sermons in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district, startling claims have emerged from one of his devotees. The self-proclaimed follower asserts having revived his deceased wife, attributing the miracle to the spiritual leader.
Deepak alias Devendra, hailing from Kashipur village in Sambhal district, recounted the purported event, saying that his wife had collapsed during one of Bhole Baba’s sermons in 2020 in Rajasthan’s Dausa. She was declared dead by both witnesses and doctors, however, after reciting Saakar Vishvahari’s mantra and administering water blessed by Baba Surajpal, she was successfully revived.
The veracity of these claims remains unsubstantiated, with no independent verification from credible sources. News18 does not support such claims either.
In the aftermath of the Hathras stampede on July 2, which implicated Surajpal and others, the authorities continued their efforts to apprehend the suspects. Devprakash Madhukar, a key figure in the incident, has been remanded to judicial custody for 14 days, as confirmed by court officials. Sanju Yadav, another suspect in the case, faces a similar legal status.
Hathras Superintendent of Police, Nipun Agarwal, affirmed that efforts are underway to obtain custody of Madhukar and additional suspects pending further investigations.
The pursuit of Surajpal, meanwhile, persists with ongoing raids conducted across his ashrams, although the spiritual leader himself remains elusive from law enforcement authorities.
