Under this scheme, if someone makes digital payment to buy petrol in Assam will get a total incentive to be 1.5 per cent (including 0.75% announced by the Centre recently).
On December 15, Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant said the schemes will begin on December 25 as a Christmas gift to the nation.
The government has allocated Rs 340 crore for the scheme and asked the National Payment corporation of India to conduct the lucky draws.
