Thousands participated in the Ashtamirohini vallasadya, organised as part of the Sree Krishna Jayanti celebrations, at Aranmula Lord Parthasarathy Temple on Saturday.
The vallasadya distribution, which began at 12 noon extended up to 3 pm. NSS president P N Narendranathan Nair lighted the traditional lamp.
Kerala High Court Justice C N Ramachandran Nair inaugurated the vallasadya. K Sivadasan Nair MLA, Palliyoda Seva Sangham president K V Sambadevan, secretary Ratheesh R Mohan, treasurer Mohanachandran, Ayyappa Seva Sangham vice-president D Vijayakumar and High Court observers Jaganmohandas and Ravindran Nair were among those present.
