ANANTAPUR: After a lull of five days, the district witnessed another faction murder in Tadipatri Assembly constituency on Tuesday.
According to information reaching here, rivals waylaid Anjaneyulu (43), a ration shop dealer at Goddumarri village in Yellanur mandal and attacked him with sticks and stones leading to his instantaneous death. Five assailants waited near Anjaneyulu's orchid on Chitravathy river bank near Goddumarri village and attacked him as soon as he came out for watering the plants.On coming to know of the murder, police rushed to the spot. The body was shifted to the hospital for post mortem. Yellanur police registered a case. Meanwhile, Tadipatri DSP PK Rajeswara Reddy said it was not a faction murder but due to family dispute.
