Mumbai: Tum toh thehre pardesi was quite a rage with cabbies and rickshawallas, but now singer Altaf Raja is going in for an image change.

And Altaf Raja is doing his makeover the hip-hop way. With foreign dancers surrounding him, the singer has decided that his pardesi days are long gone, though he doesn't mind humming the song now and then.

Back from a two-year hiatus, Harjaiie is the singer's latest album which is being promoted by music company Venus that has presented a number of his albums in the past.

"It's my attempt to reinvent my image as a singer, as a composer and as a musician," Altaf Raja said.

Adding that glam quotient to the music video is actress Preeti Jhangiani. And though she has no problem dancing to Altaf's music, she isn't exactly what one would call a fan.

"I would not listen to all his music but this song can be identified by everyone, the youth and his regular listeners," Jhangiani said.

Harjaiie will be a compilation of eight soulful numbers on diverse subjects like friendship, rain, love and the singer's favourite subject 'heart break'.
