BANGALORE: Visveswaraya Technical University Vice- Chancellor on Wednesday said that he would inform the Governor about the allegations made by some executive council members against him are false.He said, “As a vice-chancellor, I too have powers to take decisions. For every decision, I cannot keep running to the executive council members for approval. What misappropriation of funds have I indulged in? I have not sanctioned any construction project. I am only trying to complete projects started by my predecessors.” L S Narayana Reddy, Prasad Rayipati and Dr H N Jagannatha Reddy had in a written letter to the Governor and stated that the vicechancellors have not been given due respect to the Executive council and has not sought the council’s approval on several issues including submission of budget estimates for the ensuing year.The letter states that the vice-chancellor had taken more students than approved by government.
