NEDUMBASSERYT: The mortal remains of P C Alexander, principal secretary to former Prime Minsters Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, was brought to the Kochi Airport on Friday. His body was brought from Chennai at 6.20 pm by his children Jawahar and Ashok, and relatives.Chief Minister Oommen Chandy paid his last respects to Alexander at the house of the brother of the deceased in Fort Kochi.Ministers K Babu and K C Joseph, V M Sudheeran, MLAs Benny Behanan and Dominic Presentation and KPCC general secretary Ajay Tharayil were also present.Metropolitan Yuhanon Mar Polycarpus offered prayers and paid last respects. Collector P I Sheik Pareeth, Anwar Sadath MLA, Ernakulam Rural District Police Chief Harshita Attaluri and Airport Director A C K Nair offered wreaths.
