A record 3,603 jobs were offered to VIT University students during the three-day campus placement programme that concluded here on Sunday. While Accenture offered the highest number of 1,492 jobs, Wipro handed over 1,308 job offers to the jubilant students and Cognizant Technology Solutions ending up with 803 jobs.
The recruitment process consisted of screening tests and interview sessions. VIT University Vice President G V Sampath said, “The scenario is that of a big recession.
