New Delhi: A Delhi court on Thursday issued a notice to all 2G scam accused on Central Bureau of Investigation's plea seeking to call Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) chairman Anil Ambani and 16 others as witness in the case.
The CBI told the court that Anil's statement was recorded earlier during probe but was not placed before it as he was not arrayed as witness.
Anil and his wife Tina are among 17 new witnesses that the investigative agency wants to examine. The CBI wants to examine the Ambanis alleged link to Swan Telecom, one of the firms which had benefitted from illegalities in the 2G allocation of licences in 2008.
