BANGALORE: Two persons, including a woman, were killed in separate accidents in the last 24 hours in the city. A 29-year-old motorcyclist was killed on the spot when he lost control over his bike and hit a truck. The accident occurred near Vidyaranyapura Main Road when the victim Farooq Ali, a native of West Bengal, was returning home. Hebbal police have registered a case and are investigating.In another accident on Thursday morning, a woman aged between 40 and 45 years was killed on the spot when a truck hit her near Hosur Road in front of Abhay Hospital. The accident occurred near the hospital bus stop when the victim was trying to cross the road. The deceased has been identified as Hanumakka. The truck driver ranaway from the scene after the incident. Wilson Garden Police have seized the truck and registered a complaint.
