VELLORE: Two persons were arrested while the search is on for one more in connection with an attack on the traffic sub-inspector of Arakkonam town. On Saturday, while SI Murugananadham was checking vehicles near Palanipet, he stopped three persons on a motorbike for over speeding. Following an argument, one of the men -Santhakumar (25) of Palanipet - slapped the SI. He was arrested on Saturday evening, and his friend, Balachandhar (24) on Sunday morning. A search is on for the third individual, Arunkumar (22).
