Chandigarh: Punjab Police on high alert after intelligence agencies warned about twelve Babbar Khalsa terrorists who managed to enter Punjab to carry out subversive activities in the northern parts of India.
The revelation came following the interrogation of suspected terrorist Kamaldeep Singh, who was arrested on October 23 from Punjab. Kamaldeep, a resident of Kashmir, claimed that 12 highly trained Khalsa terrorists managed to enter India for terror activities.
He also claimed that all of them were trained in Pakistan and are heavily armed.
Sources in the police department said that the terrorists entered to disrupt the poll related activities in the state.
