Steps

On iPhone

Open WhatsApp. Tap the WhatsApp app icon, which looks like a green box with a white speech balloon and a telephone in it. This will open your WhatsApp Chats page if you're logged into WhatsApp. If you aren't logged in, enter your phone number and verify it when prompted before proceeding.

Make sure you have read receipts enabled. If you aren't seeing views even though you know that people are viewing your status, you probably need to enable read receipts. The person viewing your status must also have read receipts enabled on their end in order for you to know if they have viewed your status as well. Use the following steps to enable read receipts: Tap Settings in the bottom-right corner. Tap Account. Tap Privacy. Tap the toggle switch next to "Read receipts".

Tap Status. It's a circular icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen. If WhatsApp opens up to a conversation, first tap the back button in the upper-left corner.

Tap My Status. This option should be at the top of the Status page.

Select a status. Tap the status for which you want to see the views.

Tap the Android 7 Expand Less icon. It's at the bottom of the screen, just above an eye-shaped icon. Doing so will expand the icon into a list of people who have viewed your status. If you see "0" next to the eye-shaped icon, no one has seen your status yet. Even if people see your status immediately, it can take several minutes for views to show up on your side.
