Are you taking the Wii out of retirement for a fun round of Wii Baseball? This fun, action-packed game can seem pretty randomized at times, but there are plenty of ways to claim the upper hand and score a home run. We've put together a simple tutorial to help you hit one out of the park, so you can dominate any AI team that comes across your TV screen.
Hold the bat high and behind you as far as it gets.
Use both hands if you wish, although you can swing faster with one hand. Holding it high will allow you a larger swing and so the more power you will be able to get into it. However, holding the Wii remote low and hitting up will allow you to hit the ball higher, and so increase your chance of a home run. The only downside to this is that its harder to see the pitcher.
Time it right.
You don't want to swing too early or too late. It may take longer to swing because the bat is probably farther behind you than you are used to, so start a little bit early.
Come in straight.
Try for square contact with the ball.
Follow through.
Finish the swing.
