Feijoas are small, green fruits that are also known as the pineapple guava. They are not well known in many parts of the world but if you do have access to them, they are a delicious addition to your fruit intake. This article discusses some of the more popular ways that you can enjoy consuming feijoas.

Eat them fresh from the tree. Simply pick them and eat them by cutting the fruit in half and scooping out the flesh with a small spoon.

Add feijoas to cereals for breakfast. Cut up the fruit and add them to your cereal bowl for a sweet taste. Delicious with granola and yoghurt.

Use the pulp to add to muffins. This will make the muffins have a naturally sweet taste.

Make feijoas jam or jelly.

Use feijoas in alcoholic preparations, such as a feijoa cocktail or feijoa infused vodka.

Poach feijoas for dessert. Put them on deserts to improve taste and presentation.

Add feijoa slices to fruit salad.
