If your search fails due to a bad connection, the Google app will deliver your results as soon as a connection is available. This feature helps you to keep searching by retrying your search one a connection is detected. In this wikiHow, you will learn how to enable or disable this "Offline search" feature in Google app.
Launch the Google app. Make sure that you are using the latest version of the Google app. If you're not, go to the Play Store and install the freshest version.
Navigate to the menu section. Tap the Menu icon ( ≡ ) at the top-left corner of the screen. This will slide out the Menu from the side.
Go to the Settings. Tap on Settings between the Customise and Send feedback options.
Open the Offline search settings. Navigate to the Search section and select Offline search, under the Personal option.
Turn on or off the "Offline Search" feature. Toggle on the grey switch, right across the Always retry searches text. If you want to disable the feature, just toggle off the same switch. That's it!
