The National Flag of India is a horizontal tricolor having a deep saffron (Kesari) band at the top, a white band in the middle and a dark green band at the bottom. At the center of the white band there is a wheel (Chakra) which is navy blue in color. The wheel has 24 spokes. The design of the wheel is that Chakra which appears on the abacus of the Sarnath Lion Capitol of Emperor Ashoka.
Draw a rectangle.
Divide it into three equal horizontal sections.
Color the topmost section with saffron color.
Color the bottom most section with dark green color.
Draw a navy blue circle at the centre of the middle section.
Divide the circle into 4 equal sections.
Draw 5 navy blue spokes between every section, so that you end up with 24 spokes in total.
