Install ES File Explorer
Open the Google Play Store Android Google Play. It's the app that has an icon of a colorful Play triangle.
Type ES File Explorer in the search bar. The search bar is at the top of the app. You will see a list of apps that match your search result.
Tap ES File Explorer File Manager. It's the app that has an icon of a blue folder with a white cloud on the front.
Tap Install. This will install ES File Explorer. It will be needed to unzip the download file for Lucky Patcher.
Allow Installation of Unknown Apps
Open Settings Android 7 Settings App. It's the gray gear icon usually located in the app drawer of your Android phone. Tap the app button or swipe up from the bottom of your home screen to open the app drawer on your phone. Alternatively, you can swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Android 7 Settings
Tap Apps & notifications. It's the third option from the top, next to the icon with 9 squares. If you don't see "Apps & notifications" you have an older version of Android. Tap Security instead and then tap the switch for "Unknown sources" to the ON position Android 7 Switch On.
Tap Advanced. It's the option on the bottom. This will expand some additional advanced options.
Tap Special app access. It's at the bottom of the menu.
Tap Install unknown apps. It's at the very bottom of the menu.
Tap ES File Explorer. Tap the ES File Explorer on the list of apps.
Tap the switch Android 7 Switch Off for "Allow from this source" to the ON Android 7 Switch On position. When enabled, the knob of the switch will move to the right and turn blue. This will allow ES File Explorer to install apps on your phone that aren't from the Google Play Store.
Install Lucky Patcher
Go to https://www.luckypatchers.com/download in a web browser. Use your Android phone's default internet browser
Tap Download Lucky Patcher [version] APK. It's the green button below the header that says "Latest Version". You may see a warning in your web browser saying the site is unsafe. If so, tap "Details" and then tap "Visit this unsafe site". The official website says that Lucky Patcher contains no malware or viruses. Visit the website at your own risk.
Open ES File Explorer. It's the app that has an icon of a blue folder with a white cloud.
Tap ☰. It's the three-lined icon in the top-left corner of the app. This will open the main menu on the left side of the screen.
Tap Local. It's the option with the phone icon, just below the "Favorite" option. This expands several more options below.
Tap Download. It's the fourth option on the list. This opens the Downloads folder on your Android phone.
Tap the Lucky Patchers ZIP file. The full filename is "LuckyPatchers.com_Official_[version].zip" This may prompt a pop-up window asking what ZIP program you want to use to unzip the file.
Tap ES Zip Viewer. Select ES Zip Viewer from the list of apps in the pop-up window. This will open the ZIP file and display the file that's inside.
Tap the Lucky Patchers APK file. It's the only file inside the ZIP file. This is the installation file to install Lucky Patcher on your phone. If prompted, tap Package Installer from the pop-up window.
Tap Install. It's in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Tap Details Android 7 Expand More. The prompt warns you that this app may damage your phone. The official website says there is no viruses or malware in Lucky Patcher, but install the file at your own risk.
Tap Install anyway (unsafe). This will ignore the warning and install Lucky Patcher on your phone. Once it is finished installing, you can tap Open to open Lucky Patcher on your phone.
