Find the "Send a Message" area. This will allow you to write to MSNBC News directly. Typically, it will pop up with a separate window where you can write your message. Once you find the page and open the message window, type in your comment, question, or idea. Write out your comment in the message box. Try to include as much information as you can. For instance, you could write, "I had a question about a recent news story. You cited a research study about medical marijuana on a news program on February 2, but you didn't provide any information about the study. Can you give me the title and authors of that study?" Send your message by hitting the "return" button. As long as you're signed in, you won't need to include any contact information because they will be able to contact you through your social media page.

Send a comment through the form on NBC's website. Go to http://www.nbcnews.com/id/10285339/t/contact-nbc-news/. Enter your contact information, along with a comment, question, or error report. You will need an email address to fill in these forms. In addition, select your subject categories from the drop-down menus. Submit the form when you're done.

Sending a Legal Notice or Letter

Write out your letter to MSNBC News. Legal notices must be sent through the mail. You can send comments through the mail, but you'll likely get a better response through the online contact form. It's best to type out the letter and print it to make it easier to read. Address legal notices to the editor-in-chief. Legal notices can include things like asking MSNBC News to take down video or photos that you own the rights to.
