As Tommy in Vice City, you usually spend most of your time doing crimes and getting chased by the authorities. If you’ve grown tired of being hunted down by the police, why not turn the tables around? Well, you can’t exactly be a cop, but you can dress like one and work like one. Scroll down to step 1 to show you how you can be a cop in GTA Vice City.

Steps

Dress Like a Cop

Complete the “Cop Land” mission first.

Go to the police station in Washington Beach.

Enter the police station.

Enter the room on the left of the hallway. You’ll see a clothing icon near a baton.

Run through the clothing icon to change to a cop uniform.

Work Like a Cop

Find either a police car or a SWAT van and get into one.

Start the “Vigilante” mission. A message on the screen will tell you which button to press to begin.

Chase a target. A marker will appear on your mini-map showing the location of your target. Chase down the target within the time limit. If successful, you’ll be rewarded with money and another target will appear on the map. There are 12 Vigilante missions. You’ll fail if you don’t catch the target within the time limit or spend more than a minute outside of a police vehicle.
