Margao: The craze for tickets to attend the much awaited semi-final clash between FC Goa and Atletico de Kolkata at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium here has hit a new high - something you associated with only fans in Europe.

According to the sources, Goa FC media manager and team manger have been bombarded with calls of fans and close ones to provide them with the tickets for FC Goa's do-or-die semi-final second leg against Atletico de Kolkata here on Wednesday evening.

Fans slept from midnight till the morning outside the Fatorda Stadium in hope of buying at least one ticket and people are even willing to shell thousands for a Rs 200 ticket.

But most of the fans who were there for tickets left disappointed as all the tickets were sold out well ahead of the match. Some fans have even threatened to enter the stadium breaking the gates, the source added.
