'Disrespectful': England Legend Alan Shearer Can't Accept Jadon Sancho 'Being Late Time To Time'
Shearer was the latest to slam Sancho for his disrespectful behaviour after Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke revealed that the English international has the tendency to be late from time to time.

Jadon Sancho’s disciplinary issues have once again been highlighted, with English legend Alan Shearer being the latest to slam the footballer for his disrespectful behaviour. The comments came a few days after Sancho reunited with his former club Borussia Dortmund on a loan move, bringing a brief end to his turbulent spell at Manchester United.

Sancho has not featured in a single professional assignment for Manchester United since being involved in a rift with manager Erik Ten Hag in September last year. The Dutchman was not happy with Sancho’s training performance and dropped him from a Premier League game against Arsenal.

The decision irked Sancho, who vented out his frustration on social media while calling himself a “scapegoat.” His rant did nothing but worsen the situation. Erik ten Hag refused to bring him back to the squad until Sancho sought an apology for his remarks. The issue was never resolved and Manchester United decided to loan Sancho out during the January transfer window.

Borussia Dortmund have warmly welcomed Sancho, who scored 50 goals in 137 appearances during his previous spell with the Bundesliga outfit. After the loan deal was confirmed by both clubs earlier this month, Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke denied the acquisitions of Sancho having behavioural problems.

During an interaction with Sky Sports, Watzke said, “Jadon doesn’t have a discipline problem at all, I don’t know who has been saying that. Jadon only has one problem, he’s late from time to time. His internal clock is not so well-developed. He’s a very nice boy, but now and then he’s late. But you have to accept that.”

Shearer has now shared his stand on this matter during a recent episode of The Rest is Football podcast.“I just can’t understand the timing and being late, it’s so disrespectful. When you’ve got 20 or 25 other people waiting to go out training or say waiting on a bus to leave- and we should just accept you being late? Once, ok fine, there might be a valid reason, but when it happens multiple times that’s not acceptable,” the former Premier League striker told The Rest is Football podcast, as per Sportbible.

Sancho made a roaring start to his new spell in the Bundesliga. He was brought into the action in the 55th minute of the Bundesliga match against SV Darmstadt. Sancho even registered an assist as Borussia Dortmund earned a 3-0 win in the away fixture.
