Newly promoted Cardiff City have confirmed their third signing of the season in form of goalkeeper Simon Moore.
The 23-year-old has signed up a four-year deal for a fee that is undisclosed as of now, reports FIFA. Moore, who was with Brentford since 2009 has joined Denmark striker Andreas Cornelius and England defender John Brayford as the new faces at the club.
"I'm delighted to be at Cardiff City - to play in the Premier League has always been my goal," Moore told Cardiff City's official website.
"It's exciting to think that I'll be working with quality goalkeepers like David Marshall and Joe Lewis." said the English footballer.
Cardiff manager Malky Mackay, who guided his club to the final of 2012 League Club had some encouraging words for his latest signing.
"We have been watching Simon for a year or so, he is a real up-and-coming goalkeeper," Mackay said.
"He's one that I think is a real prospect. For the future of the club, I've got three really good goalkeepers now; Simon comes in and I think he can kick on again. My thanks to Brentford for the way they went about their business, they were very professional and it was done very quickly...we are delighted to get Simon in for the start of our season.
