Rome: Cagliari and Sampdoria drew 2-2 in a wild finish and Chievo Verona beat Udinese 2-1 in the Serie A on Saturday.
Playing in Trieste due to stadium troubles in Sardinia, Cagliari were put in front by Swedish midfielder Albin Ekdal in the 26th minute. That was the lone goal until Manolo Gabbiadini equalized in the 89th when goalkeeper Michael Agazzi let the ball trickle through his legs.

In Verona, Brazilian midfielder Maicosuel gave Udinese the lead in the opening minute and Chievo struck back through Sergio Pellissier in the 13th and Luca Rigoni in the 40th.
